A prompt is a search query you want Hikoo to monitor across AI platforms. When any platform cites your site (or a competitor) in response to that query, Hikoo records the citation.
Creating a prompt
- Go to the Prompts page.
- Click Create prompt.
- Enter the query text - this should be a question or instruction a real user might type into an AI assistant.
- Optionally assign it to a topic to keep prompts organized.
Write prompts that reflect how your audience actually searches. Natural, conversational queries produce more realistic tracking results.
Prompt list
Prompts are displayed grouped by topic. For each prompt you can see:
- The query text
- A visibility percentage - how often your site is cited relative to competitors for this prompt
- The number of citations it has generated
Click a prompt to view its detailed performance breakdown, including citation trends over time, platform distribution, and competitor analysis.
Prompt limits
Your subscription plan determines how many prompts you can create per website. A progress bar shows your current usage. If you reach your limit, you can upgrade your plan or delete prompts you no longer need.
Bulk operations
Select multiple prompts and use Batch delete to remove them in one action.
