How it works
- Hikoo indexes your pages and your competitors’ pages.
- Content is compared to identify topics your competitors cover that you do not (or only partially cover).
- Suggestions are generated with specific recommendations for new or improved content.
Browsing suggestions
Each suggestion is displayed as a card showing:- The topic or content gap identified
- Whether it is a full gap (topic completely missing) or a partial gap (topic insufficiently covered)
- Recommended actions to address the gap
Managing suggestions
Every suggestion has a status you can set:| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | Freshly generated, not yet reviewed. |
| Reviewed | You have seen it but not decided. |
| Accepted | You plan to act on it. |
| Dismissed | Not relevant to your strategy. |
Generating suggestions
Before Elevate can produce suggestions, your site needs to be indexed and content embeddings need to be generated. Navigate to the Elevate page and click Generate if this has not been done yet. A progress indicator shows the status.Elevate suggestions are as good as the data they are built on. Make sure your site is fully indexed and you have added relevant competitors for the best results.
